Our Mission

Our mission is to broaden awareness, communication and application of psychological knowledge for the benefit of the society and to improve people's lives, through:

• Encouraging the advancement and application of clinical psychology in a relevant and widespread manner

• Promoting research in clinical psychology and the improvement of research methods

• Improving the standard of services delivered in professional field of clinical psychology by establishing model code of conduct, ethics and training

• Updating and disseminating evidence based psychological knowledge through professional engagements like meetings, discussions, seminars, surveys-reports, policy papers, and publications

• Conducting awareness programs in public interest regarding mental health and the primary role of psychological well being in ensuring it.

• Bridging the gap between the requirement and availability of psychological intervention and services offered in the field of mental health.
